After a 35 year career in commercial and scientific photography I am now keen to explore my craft on a personal level.  

I feel my experience over so many years in "seeing" an image has assisted me in filtering out the obvious and helping me to explore the imperceptible qualities of a simple subject at a certain space and time. These almost metaphysical qualities are a combination of time, space and atmosphere and are not necessarily governed by any physical attributes.

I relish finding a location and being patient until an image reveals itself. Music is the catalyst that helps me to see beyond the scene and connect with the time and place.
